Accessibility

We endeavour to ensure that the Clan Macpherson Museum is accessible and welcoming to all our visitors.

Guide and Assistance Dogs are welcome and should be kept with the visitor for the visit inside. There is a Dog Friendly corner outside if the dog needs to be chained outside. Our Car Park is level with a tarred surface. There are dedicated disabled parking spaces near to the ramp that leads to the entrance from the Car Park. There are two entrance/exit doors to our Museum, and each door accommodates electric and manual wheelchairs, prams and push chairs. The wooden Museum floor makes it easier for the disabled to wander confidently through the exhibits. There is an accessible toilet with electronic door in the Museum. Also situated in the Museum area is the Shop, accessible to all. Comprehensive Museum guides via QR codes are available in eight different languages.
